The Corporation of the City of Cornwall is seeking qualified suppliers to supply and perform a comprehensive vehicle weigh scale preventative maintenance program on two weigh scales located at the City of Cornwall Landfill Site and for a floor weigh scale located at the Zebra Mussel Facility. 

The contract period will be for a period of two years from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2027 with the option to renew for an additional one year period. 

Suppliers are to provide a detailed preventative maintenance program, including scale calibration minimum 2 times per annum for vehicle weigh scales and annually for the floor scale. 

The successful supplier agrees to provide service within the guaranteed response time indicated on the bid sheet. All repairs would be considered extra and a quotation would have to be submitted at that time. 

The Corporation requires a written annual inspection report in September of each year.

The successful supplier must be registered as an Active Accredited Service Provider for Mass with Measurement Canada.

Opportunity to View

An opportunity to view site visit has been organized during which suppliers may inspect the site and associated equipment.  Suppliers are strongly advised to consider attending, however, this is not a mandatory meeting.
