This project involves the supply of all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to evaluate and perform all physical modifications to obtain necessary approvals, (including but not limited to TSSA) to bring 15 City operated emergency generators into full compliance for fuel delivery as per the specifications herein.

The City of Cornwall enlisted the services of 2 contractors to examine and determine what is required to bring the generators and associated fuel systems into compliance with all current regulations. The inspections are available on the City’s website.  

The final outcome of this project is to have all approvals from TSSA, all other legislative bodies and the fuel supplier such that we can obtain fuel and operate our standby generators for the next 10 years. No payments will be made until all paperwork has been received indicating that they are in full compliance and fuel has been delivered.

Opportunity to View

An opportunity to view site visit has been organized where suppliers may inspect the site and associated equipment.  Tenders shall be accepted from suppliers who do not attend the opportunity to view site meeting.  Bids shall be accepted from suppliers who arrive late at this site meeting or leave prior to the closing of the meeting.
