This tender calls for Supplier(s) to provide tractor mounted backhoe(s) and/or tractor mounted hoe ram(s) complete with qualified operator(s), to work in various sections within the City of Cornwall. When both a tractor mounted backhoe and tractor mounted hoe ram are requested to conduct work at the same work site, both units are to be completely separate units. Accordingly, a tractor mounted backhoe with interchangeable hoe ram attachment will not be accepted to carry out both aspects (backhoe work and hoe ram work) at the same work site unless requested solely by the City. Work may take place anywhere within the boundaries of the City of Cornwall and will be on an “as required” basis and as indicated in the tender specifications. The City reserves the right to call for competitive bids on specific projects that may include equipment listed in this tender. Accepted bidders shall have no recourse to claim compensation in these instances. |
