The Corporation of the City of Cornwall invites Proposals from qualified Consulting Transportation Planning and Engineering firms to undertake, manage and complete the following project in accordance with Municipal Engineers Association’s Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process (MCEA, March 2023), Schedule ‘C’, Phases 1 to 4. The scope of work for this Environmental Assessment (EA) to be completed by the successful Consultant shall be Brookdale Ave. from Seventh St. W. to Fourteenth St. W., and shall include the following major components in the project area:

  1. Traffic Circle on Brookdale Ave. at Seventh St. W.
  2. Intersections of Brookdale Ave. & Ninth St. W., Brookdale Ave. & Thirteenth St. W. and Brookdale Ave. & Fourteenth St. W.
  3. Shared Turning Lane located between Ninth St. W. and Thirteenth St. W. on Brookdale Ave.
  4. Future Ninth St. W. Roadway Corridor Extension off Brookdale Ave.
  5. Active Transportation Network Requirements/Deficiencies throughout.
