The Corporation invites Proposals from qualified proponents to provide engineering consulting services for the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA, or EA) Schedule ‘C’ for two geographically  related projects in Cornwall, Ontario. 

Part A - Proposed extension of Lemay Street from Ontario Street to McConnell Avenue, as well as roadway improvements
to Lemay Street from Pitt Street to Ontario Street. This will include intersection treatment at all intersections along with assessment of different traffic control measures such as traffic signals, roundabout, etc, as well as consideration of active transportation needs.

Part B - Development of a plan for operational requirements and any required reconfiguration of the Municipal Works Facilities, currently located at the intersection of Lemay Street and Ontario Street. This facility includes the Operations centre for: stockpiling sand, gravel, excess fill, de-icing material, culverts and other road, water, sewer, maintenance related material, along with heavy equipment and other vehicle storage and maintenance. The Municipal Works Yard and perimeter roadways have been identified as critical infrastructure for emergency
response.
