BIDDERS MUST COMPLETE THE TENDER REQUEST FORM AND REQUEST THE TENDER DOCUMENT FROM PURCHASING SERVICES IN ORDER FOR THEIR BID TO BE COMPLIANT.

The work for this project involves:
1. Refurbishment of backwash pump 
2. Removal of a soft-starter from an existing Motor Control Center (MCC)
3. Supply and installation of new motor intended for operation with variable frequency drive (VFD)
4. Supply and installation of new VFD panel enclosure and harmonic filter 5. Motor Control Center (MCC) modifications for operation with the VFD Enclosure
6. Power and control wiring for the new motor
7. Program Logic Controller (PLC) & SCADA programming for the revised operation of the backwash pump
8. New valve and piping for an emergency backwash line
9. Commissioning and site acceptance testing for new and refurbished equipment
10. Other works as noted in the drawings and specifications.
